Review of The Magician’s Raincoat (2024 Movie):
User Review: Thanks to computers, we can now have decent graphics even in low(?) budget films. I approached this film as a throwaway free rental and had no expectations other than user reviews. And it was exactly OK. There were several surprisingly funny scenes that I thought were a credit to the writers/actors. The story was meh. The acting was meh and sometimes quite poor (e.g., the bad guy in the opening scene). But I got what I paid for, and while I want to give them six stars to help their rating because I appreciated the efforts of all involved, that would deceive my fellow IMDB users, so five stars it is.
